Papa can you hear me???

So this page was so fun to do...what great memories. We did a staycation in 2009 (yes I am that far behind) and I remember as if it were yesterday. We had called my parents who were doggysitting Rocky for us and Ryan wanted to "talk" to Papa...so here is how he looked while "talking" to Papa. He was 1.5 years old at the time.

I feel in love with this paper I used for the background and had to have it!!! I used my Best Occasions Glitter Paper pack for the belly, journal box tag & words. I made this page at my crop in Tucson so I was able to borrow the paper punch for the tag and the ........ cartridge for the words. I love going to these kind of crops like this because I am able to use other people's cartridges and tools.

I had a hard time finding paper to match the teddy bear that is behind Ryan, so I cut the bear using my Doodlecharms cartridge and then used a brown ink chalk to darken/tan him up.

Have a fantastic, crafty day!!

It's a Girl...

I am really getting into making my own cards. I have been inspired by several blogs and people I have met. I went to a baby shower on Friday and I made this card with a gift card inside.

Recipe:
Baby Face: Doodlecharms

Paper: Provo Craft Doodlecharms "It's A"
Paper: The Paper Studio The Basics Pink back ground and "Girl"
Paper: Best Occasions Glitter Paper Pack pink bow & flowers
Stickles: Cotton Candy
Gems: Darice Super Sparkley Stickers
Dolly Lace Edge Punch: Martha Stewart

TIP: I used my gypsy to cut "It's A" by using "It's A Party" from the Celebrations Cartridge and brought the image all the way to the bottom so it didn't cut "Party"

This was a super easy card once I figured out the paper to use.

Hope you enjoy the card.
Have a crafty day!!

12 Days of Christmas (Day 6 Challenge)

The Pink Stamper has the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. Day 6's challenge is to make a Christmas card or scrapbook layout. If you don't celebrate Christmas then do a Winter themed project. I made a Christmas card to send to my niece with a gift card inside. It's super simple because I have the holiday head cold and can't be that creative. I hope she likes it.

Merry Christmas Kisses...
