It's all about Mario, these days!!!

So my littlest boy is going to be 4 years old. He's super addicted, YES addicted to playing Super Mario on the DS. I know, don't judge...he's got a 9 1/2 year old brother. Anywho...he's turning 4 in October so I searched the internet to get some ideas for his birthday party invites. He wants a Mario party, so what my baby wants, my baby gets...(again don't judge).

Here is the invitation I made using my Cricut E2 & Gypsy. Once I figured out how I was going to do the card, it was super easy to assemble. I found a Mario font online and used that for the wording. I have heard back from several moms that their child is walking around with their invitation and LOVES IT!! Those are the kids that have older siblings and actually know who Mario is. Now it's onto planning the goody bags, decorations, cake, etc... Thank goodness for the internet and "borrowing" ideas from other crafty people out there.

What I did and how:

I used my gypsy to add all the pieces from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge
Mario's Body (page 28):

Mario's Body for his white gloves (page 28):

Mario's Shirt (page 72) & Hat (page 66):

Mario's Overalls (page 69) & Boots (page 58):

**NOTE...I found it was easiest to put the tape on the boot while on the Cricut mat**

Mario's Hair (page 50):

**NOTE after I attached his cap I cut the top of his hair to use as the mustache**

I used yellow brads for this buttons, 2 circles for his nose & cap and gogglie eyes. I attached him with pop dots on the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Have a blessed day.

If you get a chance and would like to donate at least $5 to Relay For Life I would love the donation. You can visit my page and read why I am walking for the American Cancer Society...cancer has touched everyone in one way or another. Thank you for helping me make a difference and to honor the memory of my Brother.
